Healthcare Programmes
We invest in the health of mothers and children. By establishing health Clinics within the school system to address the health concerns of children, we teach them healthcare awareness.
Our greatest investment is in the health of mothers and children. We place particular emphasis on maternal and reproductive health, preventing and treating diarrhea diseases and Malaria in children under five years and investing heavily in the health of children during their first 1,000 days of life. Studies have shown that this period is critical to future healthy brain activity, growth, resilience, and immune system strength. We focus particularly on preventive care, combating malnutrition, and educating the community about how to prevent the transmission of HIV and the COVID-19 pandemic infection.
We believe strongly that accessible, affordable, high quality health care is a human right and essential to the fulfilment of human dignity. In our every action, we strive to provide a prefferential option for the poor and vulnerable members of our communities so that they can be our best selves. The program will liaise the school’s Adult Education sub component by training mother’s on preventive health methods for their children. It will focus on the effects of HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases such as COVID 19, leprosy, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Typhoid, and Hephataitis. The program will also focus on the therapeutic support skills, giving voice to children affected pandemic.
We provide primary and preventive care, perform lab tests, operate a pharmacy, and perform minor surgical procedures. The majority of our cases deal with children and youths suffering from diarrheal, Malaria and Malnutrition.
